Celebrating Our 2024 CROME Scholarship Recipients

This year, CROME is proud to recognize four outstanding students as the recipients of our 2024 scholarships. These remarkable individuals exemplify perseverance, dedication, and a commitment to achieving their dreams. We’re excited to share their stories with the Ennis community.

Rodolfo Salinas

Rodolfo is our first college scholarship recipient! A first-generation Management student at Texas State University, Rodolfo is an active member of the Hispanic Business Student Association. His dedication and hard work earned him a $1,000 scholarship to support his educational journey.

Alyssa Diaz

Alyssa is attending Tarleton State University to pursue a degree in Animal Science with dreams of becoming a veterinarian. As Drum Major for the Ennis High School Band, Alyssa has demonstrated leadership and teamwork, qualities that have set her up for success. She received a $500 scholarship to help her take the next step in achieving her goals.

Jennifer Patlan

Jennifer will begin her studies at the University of Texas at Austin this fall, majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Spanish. With aspirations of becoming a neurologist or neurosurgeon, Jennifer’s $1,000 scholarship will help her focus on her academic and career goals.

Ximena Edstudillo

Ximena will be attending the University of North Texas to pursue her dream of becoming a Forensic Psychologist Interviewer/Evaluator. Recognized for her academic excellence and leadership in NHS and NSSHSS, Ximena actively participated in the Spanish Club and AVID program. She was awarded a $2,000 scholarship to support her journey.
