The Claudio Romero Organization for Minority Empowerment (C.R.O.M.E.) was founded to realize the dream of a remarkable young man, Claudio Romero. A beacon of hope and an advocate for education in his community, Claudio envisioned a world where every student had the opportunity and support to achieve their academic and professional aspirations. Tragically, Claudio's life was cut short in February 2021, just before he could graduate from college and start making his dream a reality. In his honor, C.R.O.M.E. was established to continue his mission and keep his spirit alive.

Our organization is dedicated to empowering underrepresented high school students, providing them with the necessary resources and support to navigate the complexities of college applications, student loans, and career planning. We understand the unique challenges faced by these students and strive to bridge the gap in educational and professional opportunities.

At C.R.O.M.E., we offer a comprehensive suite of services, including guidance on applying for FAFSA, free tutoring to help students excel academically, mentorship programs connecting them with seasoned professionals, career planning, resume review, writing assistance & college application assistance, and scholarships specifically for underrepresented students pursuing careers in STEM fields. These initiatives are the cornerstone of our commitment to fostering an environment of growth, learning, and empowerment.
