C.R.O.M.E. Scholarship Program:

At the Claudio Romero Organization for Minority Empowerment, we're committed to supporting the educational aspirations of minority students. Our scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to high-achieving students who are pursuing studies in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.

APPLY BELOW

  • To be eligible for a CROME scholarship, applicants must:
    -Be a high school senior or current college student.
    -Identify as a member of a any minority group.*
    -Demonstrate academic excellence, particularly in STEM subjects.

    (STEM- science, technology, engineering, mathematics)
    -Have been accepted to or be enrolled in an accredited college or university.

  • Our understanding of "minority" encompasses a diverse array of students facing unique challenges or under representation. This broad definition includes:

    -Individuals from varied ethnic and racial backgrounds

    -Those from low-income or underprivileged communities

    -First-generation college students

    -Members of the LGBTQ+ community

    -Individuals with disabilities or learning differences.

    We strive to support students who bring a wide range of perspectives and experiences, recognizing that each contributes uniquely to the richness and diversity of our educational and social fabric. Our aim is to empower all students who, due to any aspect of their identity or circumstances, may have faced obstacles in their educational journeys.ion

  • -Our scholarships ranges from $2,000-$4,000.
    -Awards are based on a holistic review. Things we may consider are academic merit, leadership, and community involvement.
    -Scholarship recipients will be invited to participate in CROME's mentorship and networking events.

  • -Complete the Online Application Form: Fill out the application form below, providing personal and academic information.
    -Submit Academic Transcripts: Include your most recent high school or college transcripts.
    -Answer at least 1 of the 5 prompts.
    -Meet the Deadline: Ensure all materials are submitted by the application deadline. 2024 Deadline April 7th.
